The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) took effect on May 3.

We applaud our friends with disabilities and their organisations, for human rights of persons with disabilities are officially recognised at last.

World Vision International and Disabled People's International (DPI) have been working closely at international, regional and national levels for the rights of persons with disabilities.
